"The seller, Brent Dockery of Syracuse, bought the car four years ago on eBay and also is a victim, investigators said. He was unaware its vehicle identification number had been switched.
Davis County detectives obtained a search warrant and found the authentic VIN in the door panel, which confirmed Neeley's suspicions." THIS is why you do an indepth examination of ANY vehicle you are looking at to buy. Find out exactly WHERE factory placed VIN #'s are and make sure they match ! Don't know, THEN FIND OUT ! :? :? :? |
Nice to see justice; but the innocent guy who bought it under the false VIN is screwed. I never knew about the VIN in the door??? knew about the one under the windshield cowling...

To be fair--he should get to keep his mods atleast---if i waited that long to get my car back and I would gladly try to help the last guy out on his investment 8) it is called HONESTY
:? I GUESS THAT HAS BEEN LOST IN THE LAST FEW YEARS  |
