V8 STOCKCAR, Road Race Stock Cars at Sebring
 

The V8 StockCar series kicks off its' 2008 season at Sebring, februrary 23 and 24 running with the Central Florida Region of SCCA. More than 30 road race stock cars and GT types (ex trans am etc.) are expected.
With three pavement pounding classes to enjoy, the excitement will be palpable.

Some expected are IMSA ICON and Georgia Motorsports hall of famer, Gene Felton in a Kasey Kahne Dodge, former Grand Am race winner Dave Machavern in his Tommy Riggins built GT-1 Corvette, Former Trans Am competitor John "Chevy" Leavy in his fast TA Camaro, Grand Am, Former ARCA and IMSA Camel GT competitor Squeak Kennedy, 2007 V8SC GTA champ Jay Marshall in a Mike Cope prepared Monte Carlo, former Speedvision GT Camaro racer Charles Wicht in his ex Kevin Harvick, Sonoma winning Monte Carlo, former Florida super late model competitor Matt Griffin in a GT-1 winged Monte Carlo.

non SCCA members may attend by presenting themselves at the SCCA registration building, just outside the track on Saturday or Sunday morning to gain credentials. Overnight camping is allowed on Friday and Saturday night.
