Can anyone help with a sbc build up

I have a 350 block, steel crank and a set of eagle rods, 5.7. I have had some bad BBC before but not really messed with SBC too much. Want to be able to put a non-lightened up S10 in the low 10s. 488 gears 550 converter. I still need to buy the rest of the stuff, heads, cam( would like to stay with a solid... mechanical) ,pistons, etc... Can you guys help me out from here...Thanks alot, Rob...

stroke it punch it .030 min order scat or eagle rotating assembly if street driven too not much over a 9:1 cr dart makes a top end kit with pro 1 heads and intake or eldelbrock has one that also includes matched cam summit part #edl-2096 460hp kit

Plan on a roller cam and REAL good heads and intake, and you will need to spin it a bit. I would call Chad for heads if you need to stay with 23˚ heads. Something like these.

I would say that is not a problem at all. I don't know about the gear choice until your tire diameter is worked out. to run low 10's, which I assume is 10.25 @ 130, with a 28" tall tire and that gear you would be going threw around 8000rpm. bad move. now if you have a 30" tall tire, you would be around 7500rpm w/con slippage factored in. a 4.56 gear at the same time would put you around 7000rpm. 410 gear would put you where you need to be with that tire and your engines ability to make decent power up to 6800 rpm the 350 is very capable of delivering the results you need with no problems. a 390b6 comp cams solid roller with decent compression and double hp heads will make a 3000lb car run 10.50's so don't sweat it. built it like you want and watch the gear and converter choices.
