fuel dye on top of carburator

is it normal to have the fuel dye setting on top of your carburators metering blocks or is that a leak. and also how often should you clean out your carb from all this dye and such.
Thanks: Andy

i have found, if you use the straight nozzels, or (or shooters) you will get some fuel on top of the carb, just splatter i am assumeing, i always clean air bleeds before going the track.

Thanks, how do you clean your air bleeds. I've read where some shoot WD 40 down them and some shoot Carb cleaner in them, is this how to do this while it is on the car.

i clean mine with breake cleaner, just a spritz at each one, if one look's a little suspect, i use a strand from a small gage wire, passed back and forth to make sure it's not obstructed and spritz once more, some do use wd 40, i think it's the same as haveing a dust magnet, carb cleaner....maybe. jmo
