There was a bunch of hell raised last year by the drivers after the NHRA incorporated the new latching system in the front to keep the bodies from flying off and now they blow up like this or if you saw Cruz Pedragon's blower pop yesterday the body was stuck, the NHRA Safety Safari could not get it open and his car was still on fire!

Actually it's a lot safer for it to explode like that then like you mentioned Cruz's car on fire with him in it.
These tethers may get somebody hurt and hurt bad.
