are you wanting to know what parts to put in it ? or wanting to know prices of certain parts for it ?

Check with Ohio Crankshaft i've had good luck with their shortblocks.Their rods and cranks are forged the same place eagle is.ohiocrank.com

I apologize to you.
I will get back to you.

After I saw that recommendation for the Ohio Crank junk, that did it for me. That is the last company I would ever consider talking to again. They do have a few satisfied customers though.

If you are getting bad feedback on everything else then buy all Callies stuff and be done with it.

hammertime 11-20-2007 04:33 PM

Buy callies compstar stuff its not bad
Certains builders wont use nothing but eagle some wont use eagle some wont use callies, some wont use oliver, some will use ohio and love it other swear at it. Everything breaks once in awhile it does happen.
I know a lot of eagle stuff is out there and not a lot breaks, ohio is a lot better then they used to be.

I second that Hammertime.I have run an Ohio Crank rotating assembly for three years with no problem. If you listen to what everyone says about something you will almost always hear of a bad deal, and if you listen to everyones bad deals you will eventually run out of products to buy.If something is half price of a big name product then automatic people think it is junk.Maybe that is right and maybe it is not.I wonder what people would think if Eagle or any of the cheaper companies raised their prices higher.Would it be better.Bottom line is if you can't afford the big name stuff then you are going to have to make a choice on which one to buy.
