There will be more motors for sale this winter or a higher demand for smaller shift chips.

With all these rule changes it kinda gett'in hard to keep up with things. Maybe they should just make Top Fuel cloths only, that way all of us are good forever :D
Mmmm....wonder if the engine diaper rule is going to change again?

I cant bieleve the diaper rule wouldnt be there this year. IMO its smart move for racers and tracks to speed things up and keep people safer. My car went 7.52 this past weekend looks like a good place to be :D

If i remember correctly, back in the day, everyone running alcohol had to have a /15 fire suit, but NHRA and other sanctioning bodies let that rule slide because so many people were running slower cars on alcohol. I have an almost new /20 2 piece suit, and i've been trying to lose weight to get back into since i went from a Med to a lg. I don't need a /20 only a /15 but figured i could save the cost of buying a new one. The /20 may be for sale, since it's looking like i'm not going to make the weight.

Zip.

hmmm i always thought that the /15 0r /20 was the burn rating. i thought the first numbers was the layers.

the 15 or 20 is the TPP rating. I have a paper around here somewhere that has all the ratings and how long the burn times are for each. Ill look for it and post what they are for 15 and 20.

Another reason my car is on gas. Front engine can get away with /5 on gas. Tech told me I needed /1 gloves and since the car has a firewall I didn't need Shoes  . But I wear them anyway.
