shipping a bare chassis
 

Has anyone tried to ship a bare modified chassis? If so, how is it done? I may have a chassis sold to a fellow in another state but dont know how to get it there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had a chassis made by A.R.T. in Fl. had it shipped bt fed-ex ground, they lashed it to 2 skids/pallets along with other parts, including steering componates, rear housing,etc. cost a little over $400.00 for the 750 mi. trip. definately not cheap, but i couldn't drive there and stay over nite in a hotel and eat for 2 days cheaper.
