350 aluminum donovan

this is the same block that is decked 180 thousants with a 4.155 bore, i read on another forum that there are problems using a aluminum block, less HP, sleeves don't hold shape, head gasket leak water, problem pulling cam? true? would i be better off going to a dart iron block?
thanks for your input Doug

When the aluminum block is properly machined we see very little difference in power.the aluminum blocks don't have any more head gasket problems than iron blocks. We probably build 10 aluminum blocks for every iron one.Bill
