Belt Drives

Pro and cons on these SBC belt drives. I was ask this the other day at the drag strip. I have never used the Comp Cams drives... Comp Cams Hi-Tech Belt Drive #6500......Comp Cams magnum #6100 or Jesel KBD-31000..

JESEL ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have one and love it, plus it looks kool . jesel says you dont want an idler pulley, makes sence too , nothing to move or wear out! just my 2 cents. would never think of useing any other, ther quiet, dont transfer harmonics to cam from crank, hold timing, andyou can adjust timing easy.David,

I have the #6100 on my 434" motor(no idler) but haven't run it yet, but i also have a jessel on the shelf that i got thru a deal on ebay with some other parts, just in case the Com cam unit has a problem.

Zip.
