Oils
I ran stock cars for many years and used Mobil 1 20W50 with out any problems. I still use Mobil 1 in my Street rod/Drag car and no problems. Any of the Syn. oils are okay its just a matter of preference. Do not use Syn. oil to break in a new engine. Use regular weight oil to break in your engine then switch to Syn. brand of your choice. Hope this helps.

RP and Mobil 1 are excellent choices. You can't go wrong with either. For a street car I would go with the Mobil 1, price being better.

Last year I was using Shell Rotela motor oil , changed oil and filter every other race. Oil would be a little dark when I changed it. This year I switched to Brad Penn oil and went to change the oil and filter , took the filter off and the oil looked as good as when I put It in so I just filled the filter and didn't even drain the oil.

Where are you located? I will try to help find a dealer in your area. We stock the 10W30 and 20W50 racing oils as these are the most popular in our area.
