fiberglass doors
i'm looking for some fiberglass doors to fit 62-65 chevyll nova 2 door sedan..who would be a good place to get them from..i already called glassteck and they wanted $680.00 pair..checking to see if i can get cheaper anywhere else?
i have steel ones now.they have all window regerators removed with lexan already..how close to fiberglass door weight would i be if i was to cut all the inner structure out of steel doors?i don't want to cut up to much if it won't be that much of weight change. |
I bought mine from VFN for my 70 Buick GS/Skylark body. The fit on my car is awesome and took very little to mount. I used aluminum plates inside the door to make it a bit more rigid and it worked well. The ones for my car were $564 plus shipping. Be aware they charge about 30-40 bucks crating fees and I believe they truck ship them only. I drove from Pa to Illinois and picked them up a year and a half ago for cheaper that shipping. Also,I believe their doors are a Lexan use only too. They list non post doors for your car $604.00 ans with post $624.00 a pair.

you can ttry token fiberglass ..their stuff is very nice
I can get you their # if you need it |
The Glasstech stuff is very nice stuff. I know there's other quality 'glass stuff out there but there's some junk too. Be careful of buying cheap. You get what you pay for. Stay away from unlimited in CA.
