If I want to post say 3 different ads? How does this work?

If your not a dealer this is the best way to go. Is the top one you get 5 ads and can post 10 pictures per ad. You can post 2 ads without being a member but to me paying a membership yearly is a small fee for what I get out of this site. Remember pay a honor payment if you do sell something. I've sold more on ebay then here but have had some luck recently. Just takes the right people at the right time.
