Weather stations...

Just curious on what kind of weather stations all you racers are using? And are you happy with the unit? What are the good points and bad points about the one you use?

Kestrel 4000 good unit for the money. I usually use nothing though, just go by feel and play the stripe. :D

I use the I family software on my computer and you can go to WalMart or Lowes and by an Accu-Rite wireless station with wind sensor for about $79. I enter that info in the program and it is pretty good.

I had a Family Software program on a
Sharp pocket pocket computor for a long time and it worked well. Just used simple temp/humidity gauge and an altimeter. I have a Performair Eclipse now and works well too. Seems to be better if I predict from one run instead of the database......

I have a performaire with a Crew Chief Pro 7.0.. Nothing better in my book.. To me the only way to repeat passes is to remember what you did. The CCP 7.0 logs everything. Two years later you can recall everything that happen including your opponent. Graph runs, use different runs to factor. Has equations to finish runs where you lifted. Updates weekly......

right index finger and a deep inhale thru the nose. Houston is hot and sticky, hardly ever changes except the winter, then it gets dang cold, like down in the 50's. Maybe even the 40's.
