engines question

i have a question? i would like to buy an engine. would you buy a steve schmidt engine 584 cubic inch or a APDengine 605 cubic inch for a 2400 chassis car.

I would go with the Schmidt motor

Was a crew member on a door car team, ran a 705 hulk motor from Schmidt never had a single issue with the motor and it performed flawless. Steve was instrumental in hellping and advising on the tuneup. As long as you follow his tuning recommendations it will perform to your expectations. Run the valves to his recommendations also. Hope this helps, If I had the money in hand would buy a Schmidt motor and not think twice. :D

Both are good, I like John's stuff @ APD. Both will make big power

Let me ask this are you going for as fast as you can heads up style racing or just bracket racing ?

I'm a ReherMorrison guy myself. I race with quite a few people who run them, and they're all very happy. Very dependable, consistent power and you'll run very close to their predictions......jmo
