pilot

i am sure larry king is screaming for this pilot to be on his show. the man is flat out incredible. i had a scare not quite as bad as this a few years back when i was traveling with the wwf. p.s if i were one of those passengers those pilots would be on my christmas list for life.

Yes!! the pilot is a true hero & represents a damn fine American. Nobody died.... incredible. What a nice story... sick of the rest.

Yes i think the man Upstairs had his hand on that Situation.....Wow !...Just one Bobble by the pilot and they were Toast !..the reports state that the Jet was still traveling about 120 mph when it touch down in the water..One Bobble is all it took...

When i heard that some Passengers were getting their Luggage from the over head..i knew right then many of them did not know the seriousness of the situation in that the plane could have filled up Quick with Water and sunk fast..

Yah, but did you read that the NSTB, is going to investigate his every move to see if he could have done someting different, all before he can speak of the incident. The pilot is a total hero in my opinion and he should be honored by the NSTB for his ability to turn a potential death trap into a life saving landing.

Yeah, That's total crap too!!
Flying over a city that size don't leave a whole lot of choices.
He wasn't texting, he wasn't drinking, and who's going to sue the airline???

Hero

The pilot showed a great deal of courage and ability. He made the one decision that would have saved all those lives and prevent a worse catastrophe on the ground. I don't think the investigation will take too long to agree. There is no replacement for experience.

I guess it is just a formality 8)
Gives them something to do.
