if your lookin for advice, tell more of the build, especially what are the operating rpms gonna be then youll get advice from strangers that may or may not know what would suit your needs...off hand im guessing a 310 to 325 cc head would work well depending on rpm...good luck and i hope your vehicle can handle all the power your gunna make, ill take a guess and say peak hp will be around 7000 or so rpm so id lean twards the 320cc head if it was me and without seeing more info

That very close to what i'm building for a customer, the cam should work good. i'm useing a .725/.725 , 271in/275ex @.050 with 108 lobe ctrs. 13.2 comp.I'm going with Dart 308 iron eagles. useing hilborn 2 7/16" stacks injection on gas. Figure to make 750/800HP and stay under 7500 rpm.

6500 to 7000rpm....the car is plummed for nos and a 175 plate came with it but it has never been hooked up....the car weighs 2380lb with me in it...what kind of time am i looking at?1/8 mile car 5.46 gears with glide

I think you have too much gear for the amount of torque you should put out. The one i'm building is going into a 2,000 lb with driver Daytona tube chassis car. We're going to run either a 4.56 or 4.86 gear with a PG. We fully expect to run 5.50's. May have to go up on the converter it's a 5500 stall.
