New Cam????
 

Just got my new bracket motor a lightly used 358 SBC 18* busch series motor. All jesel,BB snout,wilson intake,But it has S/S valves. I measured the back of the block and the cam bore is 2.250 appox. (its a 184 block not a 184A) is it a 50MM cam or 55MM? I haven't got to pull the cam yet. Should i run it as is or order a new cam for my application(is a 50mm or 55mm cam high? $$$ I was told to keep RPM's below 8000 because of of the s/s valves. Thanks for the help in advance. Oh the car is a super gas vega 2400#, 5:38 gears, headers are step(pro fab) 1.875-2.00-2.125 into a merge 3 1/2" outlet,1.76 glide converter is 6000 stall
