somebody going to trade you one for your 350?

Jordan1984 04-28-2009 07:04 PM

Had lots of offers to trade for my 350, but im also throwin in my garret turbo, turbo headers for sbc, 2 tial 38 mm wastegates. Just waiting for the right deal to come along, trying to explore my options right now. Pretty much set on a BBC. Would like to find a stock 8.1 496 with computer and wiring harness from newer model trucks to put in, just to have fuel injection.

8.1 ON EBAY http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-...1%7C240%3A1318

wantin to trade so I dont have the engine i have now sittin on the garage floor and a turbo sittin on the shelf. The 6.0 364 in my 2500 chevy will jump and run, ive heard the 8.1 will do the same, but that they are not very performance oriented. I just want to do the basics and keep the stock bottom end- new top end, ignition, exhaust, maybe some valve train mods.

I wouldn't do any trading for the 402. I would rather have the SBC. If you can trade on a 496 it would be different. IMO stay away from 396 and 402 stuff you'll just be disappointed.

If you are going to add 200 lbs to the car might as well go big.
