converter
 

hey trying to get a good idea here, i had a 69 camaro chassis car, car went 5.79 combo was 470 inch bbc , 13.5.1, around 700 horse, glide 1.76, and a 4700 stall, 5.13 gear, car comes in at 2650 me in it, question is , same motor in a dragster, same tranny type, 1850 me in it, 4.30 gear what stall is needed ????? i tried a 5900 stall and dragster only went 5.40 ish, seemed to be blowing thru converter, any help will be great, oh and motor works around the 5500 to 7000 range
