I have heard that 351 windsor heads will fit real nice on the 302's. Also by doing that it creates a few more horses under the hood.

Rebuild it stock and throw a vortech or procharger on it.

There's your best bang for the buck. Slap a plate system on it, or better yet, a plate and a fogger system...... Now that's the most bang for your buck! Cp |
x 2 year and models make all the difference, I have to admit, I once to was a ford guy, LOL

I'd race a ford, only if it had a chevy motor in it
All kidding aside, you got a killer platform, 85 and up SBF's were roller cam blocks, so I'd definetly stay with a roller cam, but up the lift and duration a bit. Ford Performance Parts # b303 is the cam alot of ford guys are running. Roller rockers would be my next recommend along with some full length headers. A performer RPM air gap intake would be good choice. Put on a Holley 650 double pumper and you got yourself a killer street motor. Goodluck, Cp |
thanks for the info Cepx. thats all i need to get some idea rollin never built a motor without havin to go by the rule book let alone a ford. block is gettin sent out to machine shop soon(I HOPE) and ill go from there. thanks alot, nick
