how long do you go with out changing, or do you remove it all togeather?

Haven't run foam in any of our cars in the last 25 years. (drag cars)

I drain the cell completely each fall. I'll be replacing the foam this winter as it is about 10 years old. My foam has lasted this long cuz I do drain the cell each fall.

Without the foam you run the danger of fuel sloshing away from the fuel pump hose if the cell is a little low.

i always top off, affter each run.

On a hard launch fuel goes back and of course it has to go up too.
This can cause a small amout of air to get in the lines and cause the motor to run out of fuel for a split second. Foam does help to control the sloshing effect.
It will break down over time,but it's pretty cheap to replace.
I'm to slow to take any chances so I still use mine.
