just got home from Birmingham,picked up my 2 granddaughters.alexis who is going on 13i call her little bit..and destiny,who is 9.call her little girl or brat..im about the happiest man on the planet!!!!been a long long time since ive had little bit with me.and I get little girl about every 2 weeks for a nite.then she goes to dillions,her dad my son..i don't care how mad at the world I am.like near violence,as soon as im with her I can feel all the weight of the world leave my body.god I love my girls...

Yeah,been working on the car a little. It's hard to get too excited with two feet of snow still on the ground.

Went and took my road test for my Class A CDL and passed it on my second try. Now Im looking at getting a job truck driving. Gotta get these bills paid somehow

Dirka I may be up your way in a couple weeks if I get my car ready in time I want to run that March madness at the clarksville track. I have been wanting try it out for a couple years.

I have been stuck on here all winter since there has been nothing better to do :!:

Still boxing, but working w/ kids now (my body is too old to keep sparing w/the big dudes). Got a set of heads in machine shop for my 68 Chevelle & plan on doing some work & Paint soon on it. Work is good- still a fact rep for BowTech. Everything is okay... wife is good, still trying to pray every day & rely on God for grace, common sense, & continued sobriety. I miss you dudes!! Dang it. I might be up in Iowa during that time. I start my new job on the 24th of this month.

I am going to be driving for TMC transport out of Des Moines Iowa. From everything I had heard and read its a great company to drive for and the pay aint bad either. They say for the first year you can make from $40,000 to $60,000

Sounds good to me. I leave next Saturday for Iowa. I do believe starting lastnight they will be racing every Friday night from now till seasons end.

I have always ran at music city raceway ( union hill) but iam a about the same distance or a little less to clarksville. I am suppose to be off on Fridays now so I thought I would give that track a try.

Its not a bad track. I think the most that the guys complain about is that they really dont clean off the shut down area after they run the circle track so there is a little bit of red clay on it.

I have heard clarksville hooks up better than the hill. How is the car count?

The car count is decent I think. Another thing I hear drivers complain about is how they have street cars go down the track with street tires on too during the brackets.

They got some nice cars show up. The fastest I seen there were in the 6s.

Same thing at the hill with street tires last weekend I saw a dragster run a 4.70. Lots of foot brake cars running well into the 6s.

Wow. There aint nothing that fast here lol. I did notice that they have two buybacks I believe.

Mopar sent me a mssg on the web site. I think the new forum has him meesed up. I told him about the new forum so I hope he can get logged in soon.
I can log in on my phone and my lap top, but haven't been able to on my home computer. I'm a gear head not a computer geek! lol

Hey you coming up for March Madness? Its looking like I am gonna be in town still on that weekend. Let me know and hopefully we can meet up cuz I was actually thinking about going to that on Saturday anyways now.

I plan on running on Friday the 28th if all goes as planed. I drive a red nova that is in bad need of a paint job. I will let you know for sure next week hopefully we can meet. The car still needs an oil change other than that I am ready to go. Been driving the wife crazy talking about going. Hope my reaction time are not to bad.

I had the March madness wrong I looked at an old schedule looks like just a regular program.

I just looked again and I could swear they had the March Madness going on the 29th.

If you want I got a garage where you can change the oil in. Got a jack and stands and some tools.

Well I made it home for the holiday and am going back out this evening. I have to deliver a load at 10:30 tonight in Dickson, TN.

Glad you got home for Easter. We still need to meet at the track one Friday night I blew my motor up 2 Saturdays ago so I will spectate.

Yeah I got home around 8 friday night and was to tired to do anything plus being gone for a couple weeks just wanted to stay home. I will definitely let you know when I am home on a friday so we can meet. I know a good spot to spectate right next to the track. I usually sit in the back of my truck on a chair since there really aint stands on that side of the track lol

Just figured out the new format . . Haven't had time to mess with it because our racing season started the 5th of April . . Bad day at Black rock . . Won first round (9.15) but got #6 rod in the lights . . Had to race the pickup(s) to keep abreast of the points . . Got the new bullet back in a week ago last Thursday and had "New Car Blues", car hooked better, but after 3 carbon copy qualifying passes,(9.30) submarined on the first round pass, 9.27 on a .30 dial and then a 9.21 on a .27 dial in the buyback . . Plus redbulbed -.002 on the buyback . . Got two more races in this series and then we'll probably go up on the mountain for certain selected events . .

I have been away from here for awhile too. Granted I know most of you were on here waaay before I came along. How's everyone doing? Never met any of you guys face to face. Though I have spoken to a couple guys over the phone. Mark(mopar1968) & (fla1976) hope everybody is doing good! Kris

Still kind of a ghost town on here. Hope everyone is just too busy racing or working on their projects. Trying to fabricate some sheet metal for my latest project.
