STRAIGHT CUT GEARS

Are powerglide straight cut gears very noisy?? Like BTE or TCI 1.80 gears.

A spur or strait cut gear will be noisier than a helical cut gear, but are much stronger. :)

I would say in a street driven car you would probably here it. Maybe slightly in a race car.

I have the Transmission Specialty 1.80 straight cut gears in my race car and can't say that I can hear any whine from them and I have the Flowmaster collector mufflers on mine.
