Corporate types bought kcir, big plans.... They say, I never have believed corporate types. Claim they*re going to move it within 5 years, I*m from Missouri, I*ll believe it when I see it! Might just be the end of drag racing in Kansas City. :(

I race at Gateway. They "went big" in '96. Built a new dragstrip, 1.23 mile oval, and roadcourse. We went from over 20 points races a year to about 12. :?

I think drag racing is going to be over in KC :x I would like to see Kansas Speedway put in a 1/4 strip.

That is a shame! Hey, I think you*ve blown my doors off before, I know I*ve seen that car before! Politics, Poli: meaning many Tics; meaning little bloodsucking parasites.

This is what I know. Some of the new owners are jerks and we may not have our midwest shootout there again because of them. This April may be our last one there. We did fine at KCIR the last 4 or 5 years. Now there getting money hungry instead of doing it for the sport and having fun for one lousy week end. THE SUPPOSELY BIG GUYS WILL MESS A TRACK UP EVERY TIME YOU CAN BET ON THAT.
I also heard that a drag strip is being built in Columbia Missouri.
MAN I HOPE THAT IS TRUE :D

Where is Moscow Mills? I hope you*re right about Colombia. I*m just about halfway between there, and Topeka.

Moscow Mills is about 50 miles West of downtown St. Louis. Close to Wentzville and Troy Mo.
