How does that compare to your old vette? Do you have pictures of the vette that you could post? The nova is very nice, we need some video footage.

The vette and this car is APPLES vs ORANGES.
tHE Vette was all fiberglass BIG tire car.It could not be run in 10.5 classes because it did not have steel roof and QTRS,Plus no stock fire wall and Tire size, although 10.5 tires could be put on the Vette it would have looked like Fido's a$$.. The Vette also weighed 2200 lbs with driver race ready.. So not many classes here locally the vette could Run in.
Also the type of car the Vette was if you wasn't running 4 teens or faster you wasn't accomplishing anything in the eyes of serious racers

The Vette was a TOP of the line Top Sportsman/ Pro-Mod car but wasn't really practical for the kind of racing and tracks i go to... it was a pain in the a$$ to load up and run at the track.

the Nova in My eye's is a race car as i have been brought up to know what a race car was,...Steel, stock firewalls, 3,000 plus Lbs and smaller tires..althought the tires on the Nova is 10.5..tjhey are still huge compared to the 9 inch slick we used to run years ago.

The Vette was so long it kind made me look at it as a flopper car of the 70's in some aspect...Bottom line the Vette never really did have my heart or eye 100%...neither did the 67 camaro....but the Nova has both.

i guess it all comes down to what pulls your trigger... :D
( Chevelles 66'-67' and Nova's Chevy II'S 66'-67 does that for me)
Next would be small tire 69 camaro's,,which i have one of these also

Brian,
That is one SWEEEEEEEET ride, good luck in 2009. Are you going to the Super Chevy Show in Commerce?

Real nice and powerful hot rod Brian. It reminds me of the late 80's early 90's pro street cars, back when Tony was making the rounds in his shoe box. We had a circuit that ran at our track with Tony, Pat Musi, Mike Moran, Nick Scavo etc.
