slick treatment
Anyone ever hear of putting a coating of dish soap inside of your slicks to prolong there life?

The soap is to seal the slick so it can be run tubeless. Don't see how it would prolong life of the tire.

The soap dries in the tires. You just coat the inside of the tire with a thin coat to help seal it. I also used Ivory , doesn't harm the tire.

Yes the dishsoap slows air loss. Mine would be flat in a week. Now when i checked them last it had been over 3 months and were still holding air.

The slicks I have now hold air for a long time.I have never had them off since I bought the car. Will be putting on my new slicks soon, will be giving them the treatment.
