Shadyside local 10.5 line up for April 5th
i know you guys don't know a lot of these local guys names from my area but i assure you they are Fast and serious racers.
but check out the top of the line up...Gonna be some Good racing Tom this is the race i was wanting Boo King to come down to. i will get some good pic's for everyone Any of you guys within a few hours Drivng distance come on down and say Hi.I will be there all weekend..Let me know ahead of time so i can be looking for you..Plus you will see some TRUE 10.5 Outlaw racing like you never seen it before... :shock: Shadyside 10.5 Outlaw Race April 5th http://www.shadysidedragway.com/ WE HAVE SOME HEAVY HITTERS COMING IN ON APRIL 5TH FOR OUR OUTLAW 10.5 RACE, AND WE WILL HAVE ONE ROUND OF QUALIFYING SUNDAY AT 12:30 PM. THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE THREE ROUNDS OF QUALIFYING ON SATURDAY. TIM LYNCH AND STEVE PETTY HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THEY ARE COMING TO THIS RACE. TIM JUST WENT A 4.24 AT HOLCOMB MOTORSPORTS CIVIL WAR RACE LAST WEEKEND IN HIS PROLINE TWIN TURBO MUSTANG. GIL MOBLEY/CHUCK ULSCH HAVE ALSO CONFIRMED THAT THEY ARE COMING TO THIS RACE. THE MOBLEY CREW HOLDS THE OUTLAW 10.5 RECORD AT A 4.18. THEY WILL BE BRINGING THE BLOWN CAMARO. GIL SAYS HE MAY BE COMING DOWN THURSDAY TO DO SOME TESTING AND WILL BE HERE ALL WEEKEND. THE SHADYSIDE RECORD IS A 4.41 HELD BY RICHARD SEXTON OF THE GIL MOBLEY TEAM. OTHERS WHO HAVE CONFIRMED THEY ARE COMING ARE: KEITH JACKSON FROM S.C. IN HIS CHEVY II, STEVE HICKS FROM VA. IN HIS BLOWN NOVA GREG CHANDLER FROM WVA IN HIS TURBO MUSTANG J.R. It cant be more than say,1600-1700 Miles round Trip?Give or take a Few..... Hell i can swing down and pick you up on the Way! If we left say Weds.we should be G@@D to G@! Later G 8) |

No they Don't Tod !!!!!!!..i am gonna be there taking all of it in. I have seen Quann Stott run a 3.96et at 180mph at this track in his LeeBOY 63 Vette (pro-mod)...but to see these guys do it on 10 inch tires at 3,000 lbs Blows me away..As a racer its still hard for me to digest Cris call in sick and meet me at the track...lol...... :D . seriously the chances are very high for low 4.20 and Lower passes by lynch or petty...you can bet the track will hold them you know your at a fast race when a 4.50et 3,000 lb door car on 10.5's looks slow.... :shock: :shock: |

i seen that drag racing from N.C. and man they run some fast
cars and serious motors, alot of these guys run w/o big sponsors and race hard on the wk ends, good luck :wink: |

shadyside 10.5 Oulaw Race Well Boys 19 outlaw Cars showed up from New York,Virgina,NC,SC,Georgia,Florida a few of the 19 drivers you may be famailier with are Brad Brand, Bill Futch, Craig Pio, David Hance, Bryan Markiewicz and Tim Lynch. Tim lynch broke on his last qualifying pass,,he spooled it up and left hard, carried the front wheels thru the 330ft mark then shut it down..he went straight to his trailer, by the time i made my way to his Pit they almost had it loaded..so it must have been something pretty bad, Bryan Markiewicz set a track record with a 4.40 pass @185 mph (10 inch tires backhalf @3,000lbs, he was driving the yellow twin turbo Pro-line mustang. Bill futch won the race .. a lot of other local fast cars..almost a shame if you were running 4.70's or 80's you were competing for 4th place... :shock: ...it was a great race... here is a thread from another site that shows a few cars at Saturdays Qualifying... http://z3.invisionfree.com/Shadyside...showtopic=7505 |

The honda is owned By a local Guy Dany Porter..the Honda was built in his back yard.."no joke"....NHRA would stone him to death if he even trailored the car to one of their tracks. The Honda keeps coming back time of after time and shutting many up. he runs mid high 80's normally when he mixes some Nitro he will dip in the 60's. here is a vid of a NITRO PASS 4.69@ 153mph they ran off and left the honda this weekend with their 185 mph passes.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYzKNmi-F2I |

Lisa and I were there on sunday for a little while but we had a long trip back to florida so we could not stay all day . Should be ready to run the outlaw truck in Orangeburg at the end of this month with ORSCA , talk to ya' soon , Bobby and Lisa

Wish i had known you were at shadyside..i would have said hello... did you go to Rockingham and swing back thru ? did you have problems finding the track ?...GPS. ???..Before GPS or someone leading you in..many had problems finding shadyside in the past... :shock: |
