Need some help for my 33.5*17*16 inch goodyear's

Hello there,

I need some help in replacing my dragster tires. I bought it and it had an MT of 33.5*16.5*16 and the tire was almost gone so i ordered the D-2532 Goodyears with the D-2A compund and now after i have replaced the tires and my rims are the bogart and not beadlocks rims, im trying to put sime air in them but the rim isnt fit from tne ineer and outer part of the rims. its really difficult and i cant pressure the air IN in order to make the tire gets fit to the rim.

Did any one faced like this problem> i hope some have solutions with some pics coz i searched google up side down and couldnt find any clue in how to put some air into them.

Regards,
Moe

I take mine to the local tire shop. They have a small tank they fill with air, it has a 2" tube running from it that they put on the edge of the rim. When they open the valve the blast of air seats the tire and they have the air hose attached as normal to finish it off.

If you can get the side that does not have the vavle stem on it to seat then you can try to fill the tire as you have it upright rolling it while pushing down or you can try and get the side with the valve stem seated and put it up on a bucket or something so that the tire is off the ground and put air in it that way to get the tire to seat on the bead.

I have had this problem before with new tires. take them off the rim , cut three sticks as wide as you can fit in between the beads, spread them with the sticks overnite remount the next day and you should be good to go. hook up your saftey chuck and start air into tire & jiggle up & down and should pop on bead. an other trick if it wont pop on bead is if you have a co2 fire extinguisher shoot it under the bead while air is hooked up.

It sometimes helps to throw a ratchet strap around the middle of the tire as well.

A spray can of ether and a lighter come to mind.
