fuel cell mounting

can i put my aluminum fuel cell inside of my car in the very rear?have a wagon if that matters and be running alcohol for fuel.what is NHRA RULES ON MOUNTING AND LOCATIONS OF FUEL CELLS?

Mount it infront of the motor.
I doubt you will get away with that one being the wagon rear will not be sealed off from the drivers compartment.

NO ROOM UP FRONT.LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TO MOUNT UNDER CAR THEN?

You can do it but you'll need a small tank up front, for the fuel and an electric pump to fill the small tank. If you ar running carbs the electric pump will work o'k from the rear tank, but if you're running a mechanical pump you will definately need a small tank up front. I've got a duel setup on my car i can switct to a carb and run gas in a matter of minutes, from the rear tank but since i run alcohol with a mechanical pump i have a 3 gal tank mounted in the front.

Zip.

Put the tank in the rear and build either a floor to roof wall in front of it or fully enclose it wall to wall with tin.

yes running a mech pump off the front of gear drive.i have a small tank with holley fuel bowls on it's sides i'm putting up front above pump level and was plaining on using a electric pump at rear tank to kept fron tank full.
