you know he wore it for a yr, it seems like some, no life person
who just looks for something to complain about voiced his opiinion
and made it look real ugly, the company could have warned him,
but im sure the customer wanted more, like his job. this country was
built with religon and under god, i think if a puke should get slaped
and if you don't like, "under god", go else where, cause with god
all is possible, amen. remeber, god said, when the end is near,
and you mention my name, they will spit on you, and strike you
down, thats not right :?

There is a local music store using someone called Satan Claus in their radio ads to tie in Halloween sales and Christmas sales also. WON'T be shopping there...

I don't agree with it, but would just like to point this out.....

"only company-provided pins and badges can be worn on our aprons."

They have the right to make a dress code if they choose to...if he doesn't want to abide by it,then he doesn't have to work there. He was told to take it off and he refused. That is insubordination. They were within their rights to fire him.
Who knows why they let him wear it for a year then suddenly want to enforce it. I worked at a place (factory)that didn't allow tank tops...I, along with many many others wore them for years with nothing said...then all at once they started enforcing it...was ALWAYS a rule but wasn't enforced until some HR boss decided to .

Again, I don't agree with it, and do not know their reasoning for not allowing it...just pointing out that he wasn't fired for wearing a button..he was fired because he was violating a rule, and then refused to comply when told to do so.

Point taken.

I think the more important issue here is that he stood up to forces larger than he for his deep seated beliefs in his faith and country. Politically Correct is coming to a head in America and it's waaaay overdue. The whole world is laughing at U.S. because we've become so soft that all anyone has to do is whine and 'we' APPEASE the whiner to not 'offeeeeeend' them. We have dehumanized our population to become sheeple that can be herded wherever 'they' want U.S..

I am standing by my decision to not do ANY business with Home Depot over this policy.
