Hi Brian,

What is the trans for? You can call Charlie at ATD he runs the shop for Hipster. You can contact him at 262 251-7777 Or check them out at
autotransdesign.com

I have used them forever, I have had only 1 other brand name trans in my race cars. That ended very quick, the valve body was Fd up and I launched in reverse at 4400 RPM!!! So I ate a lot of crow that day, and had a new ATD trans 2 days later. Oh Ya, new underware that day also!

How close are you on that VET?????

the tranny is the final Big ticket item to purchase..i have re-plumed the entire motor fuel and (nos) lines, made a new bracket to support my 4 port regulator, took off pan inspeated bottm end and re-sealed pan, plumbed the water system..(very aggravating) due to the radiator being lower then heads.i used all braded lines #12 and welded up a water neck type log with 3 entry ports ( i will have to post a pic)...re-plumbed the entrance side of the dry sump and placed a inline ( peterson) oil filter that runs straight from the pump to the block,,( did away will the excess lines and the bulking canister filter)...
mounted the vacccum pump and the dry sump to where all pulleys have lined up..( very time consuming)...
took fogger off and carbs off and hand polished the sheet metal intake, and oil pan.
i have been priliminary measuring where i can mount the tank for the dry sump. i ordered some chassis clamps that can be welded on to for brackets ..looks like i am going have to sit the motor in the car and then get my sump tank mounted..really tight between the radiator and tank..i have several options, #1 re-postion the radiator in is current position, #2 move the radiator forward if the front end allows,#3 mount the tank in front of the radiator using the clamps i ordered...

i am very anal about my set up..so its taking extra time then most would take....but when its done,,its gonna be really nice...i am looking to have finshed by end of summer, or early fall.....

ohh yes the tranny is for ther vette..632ci 2100lbs with driver..

thanks for info.

Brian
