My first car was a dirt brown '73 Chevelle. I have great memories from the back seat, uh front seat of that car. Drove it half way across Oklahoma for the State Jr. Bowling championship tournament. Had to carry 3 gallons of water and about 3-4 qts of oil to get us there and back. Made it back safe with the state champion trophy though. No cell phones then of course. I would never even consider taking off on a trip like that now.

It would be cool if you could find some of the swivel seats that they used in the Laguna.

HARB, I would drive the hell out of that wagon! I love it!!

I grew up in a small hick town and right after I got out of high school (87) the popular thing for the older guys ( late 30's or early 40's lol) was to cut the top off an old 70's caddy or lincoln and paint (spray cans I'll add) them camo or some stupid color. We had a blast riding around town and hunting out of those those cars. I miss that little hick town sometimes!!

dragonmaster093 08-15-2013 09:47 AM

Car is coming along hardest part is locating small parts for the interior. Got wiring to sort out but got it running so mamma happy. Was mad as a wet hen when I bought a car that I didn't hear run.
