I used Unlimited stuff on my Pinto and it was the nastiest fiberglass I've ever seen. It took a lot of body work to get it ready for paint. I thought there was a thread on RJ about them but I can't seem to find it right now. There is a thread on another site if you want to check it out here. http://motorsportsvillage.com/forum/...php?f=4&t=7203

I used Glasstek on my Probe and couldn't be happier. Some light sanding and a little primer and it was ready for paint. Their website shows the Vega stuff. http://glasstek.com/

gearhead, is it drag car quality? i just want it to look descent enough so i can paint my vega one color and look nice.... no show car by any means. what did you have to do to it before you painted it?

The unlimited is not drag car quality, maybe primered, demo-derby quality. The stuff I had took at least a gallon of body filler for the doors and front fenders. The stuff wouldn't stay straight either, it seemed to get wavy after being out in the sun. A few months ago a body guy told me that the cheap resin used in fiberglass will cause that but the more expensive epoxy won't. My Glasstek stuff still looks great after 5 years of racing.
