i'm useing a 1/4 mid plate on my truck, do i need to get the flexplate shim along with the pact of converter shims i bought. and which shim would you use on the converter when useing 1/4 midplate? there is 3 different shims .060 .125 .250 there is one shim that is 1/4 thick. the converter is not set up for midplate use.

No-One can tell you how much shim to use or not use by the information you supplied.
You gonna have to get under the car and check your end play with the converter to know if you will need to shim or Not to shim... |
ok thanks

If ya Un-clear on what i am saying,,come back and let us help you,You CANNOT push that converter back onto the tranny pump and ya gotta make sure there is some room for growth on the crank side .

to do this correctly, you have to have a 1/4 stub put on converter to keep it in crank. then put conv. in all the way then bring it out .125 from pump and shim you'r bolt lugs. this is how i was told to do it on mine from trans specialties. hope this helps
