How much Nitrous?

I have been thinking about putting nitrous on my 454 bbc I know it has been rebuilt for racing but not sure what all is done to it. What do you guys think would be a safe shot of nitrous not knowing alot about this engine. I have been told 100 maybe 125 but I would like some more opions. Any replys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You really want to find out whats inside that engine. What compression ratio it has. Forged crank? Nitrous pistons? etc etc. There are some really good books out there that'll help you a lot.

100 HP shot will not be a problem. This is a very safe point.
