frame up grade
 

I bought a 58 chevy truck project that has had a lot of work done on the body, but the frame is toast. It has a 99 s-10 chassi with it but the frt end is 10' to narrow. Done some measuring and found out the 81-87 square body frame are the same width and same wheel base as the 58 frame. So just wondering if anyone had made a conversion of this sort or if there was a better option to look for. Any help is appreciated. Thx

Double check that wheel base. Just reworked a swap for a 57 truck onto an 82 chassis. The rear wheels are not centered, but set back towards the rear approximately 4 inches. Waiting on the owner to give the go ahead to section the frame slightly to correct it...
