JW Flexpalte, sbf to Powerglide
 

Hi,

I have bought a JW Flexplate 93003-L to suit SBF. It is a flat plate. I bought it to replace a damaged dished type of plate.

I bought it from Jegs. Jegs webpage suggest that I need crank adaptor 564-80013 to go with the flexplate.

When I click on that adaptor for more info it says it is for a Chyrsler..no mention if it will suit a Ford crank.

I email Jegs a question (im in Australia) asking if the part number that they quote is right. They come back to me saying that I don't need it.

Has anyone else used the same flexplate and did you need a spacer ??

I have also asked JW directly but the bloke quoted spacers that relate to BBF and not SBF..Very confused.
