radial vs non radial slicks

Is anyone running or know of anyone running the radial slicks. M/T has a 33x14.5 radial slick and If it's true you run these tubeless even though they cost more you still save over the non radial plus the price of new tubes. the salesman says they last longer and they are stronger and safer at high mph's. but I don't see anyone at our tracks using them. any thoughts or knowledge about these other than just sales talk.
Thanks Andy well now I've read where yhey don't grow at the end of the track. start with 33 you end with 33. is this so.
thanks again Andy
