What are your most favorite tools...

..... that you use for car crafting on a regular basis ?

I love ALL my tools but the top 5 are;

1 - clecos
2 - 4 1/2" Makita grinder
3 - Craftsman wrenches that my dad gave me for Christmas a bazillion years ago
4 - Miller 225 mig welder
5 - home made anvil from a chunk of big I-beam

That's a tough answer DD. I like 'em all.
I guess it would be;
1. Mack wrenches my dad gave me that he bought in 1968. Probably 60-65 pcs total.
2. Lincoln 180 welder
3. Mack stubby wrenches. Standard and Metric sets.
4. Dewalt 1/2 inch cordless drill
5.Snap on torque wrench that I hardly ever use.

My least favorite is.
1. a no name pos porta band. I need a new one real bad.
2. Snap on wrench set. They are way to thin across the body of the wrench.

Wow, thats a tough choice...hhhmmmmmm...
1. Snap on 1" impact gun
2. Makita angle grinder
3. Snap On wrench set, metric and standard I inherited from my Gpa
4. Snap on mini die grinder.
5. Mac Tool torque wrench, also barely gets used but I know everythings correct when I do!

I have an old gigantic bench vise that I've had for nearly 30 years. It is one handy unit! Have to bolt the workbench to the wall to hold it up......the handle is 18" long and 1" diameter and the jaws open to 14". Probably weighs 100+ lbs.
Also have a bench mounted belt sander that is handy for shaping parts.

1" impact, I started to list that as my least favorite. I use to do a lot of track work on dozers and excavators. I haven't used mine in several years thank goodness. lol
