RODS TO PISTONS??
 

I recently purchased a compustar speed pack w/ mahle pistons for a sbc.Can someone tell me if there is a certian way in which rod must be installed on pistons? Is there a front, back, left, right?? I noticed that the rod is machined a little different at the cap. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the large champher on the rod goes to the radius on crank throw. if s/b chev also with this the bearing tang will be towards the pan rail.
