JE Pistons
I just got my pistons in the other day and want to see who uses JE and if you have anything good or bad to say about them. They sure look like they are first class. I went with a nitrous piston. Thanks

I have 13 to 1 JE's in my 360 cid sbc ,they are the best pistons I've ever had,But I've only built a hand full of motors
|
I used to use them all the time in my sb stuff havent used them in my bb's though. Always had good luck then
|
I had some in a SBC I used to have, top notch stuff.
Question: Aren't SRP and JE one in the same company? I've heard they were / just wondering > Cp |

I have used JE pistons in 4 of my motors with no complaints or problems.

srp pistons are 4032 grade aluminum, the je pistons are available with the much desired(and the ones i have in a nitrous application)2618 for harsher environments with more cylinder pressure, nitrous blower and turbo stuff
i have them and no probs sofar,i got them through flatlanderracing.com(if memory serves me correctly)motor is a dart 572. srp pistons are not ment to be used with much over 200 horsey power hit of nitrous. |
I posted last nite but removed the post, JE is a great piston, SRP's are soso, and all are overpriced. I've been useing Probe for the last couple yrs. They are every bit as good as JE and a ton better than the SRP pistons, and 30% cheaper than JE.
