what race fuels for what compression ratios

I WAS WONDERING WHICH FUELS WENT WITH WHICH COMPRESSION RATIOS. LIKE VP FUELS-AT WHICH COMPRESSION RATIO DO YOU UPGRADE THE FUEL

It all depends on which type of heads you use. For example you can run 93 octane with anything under 10 to 1 w/steel heads. 11 to 1 w/aluminum heads. As far as race gas goes 12 to 1 usually requires 110 to 112. 13 to 1 requires 114 to 116 depending on timing. There are alot of factors though, like if you use nitrous or boost. You can have lower compression but still requires higher octane. It all depends on your combo.

It has a lot to do with the dynamic compression. 8.0 goes with premium pump gas, from 8.5-> you should use higher octane race gas.
