I have used bte, tci, and ptc with good results in the past, I would use anyone of them again with no problem...

convertor

have you talked to the guy's at redneck racing. they build custom convertor's. Thats all I know about them. They use ebay as advertisement. I called and ordered a conv. from them for the new car I'm building. Ihave heard some goodthings about them so I thought I would give them a shot. 9"convertor guarenteed to give me 4000stall on the handbrake with my set-up. $320.00 to my door.

I have a BTE in my car. It stalled to high when it was first installed. Sent it back had it tightened up. It's been fine ever since.

i would try redneck performance
theyre a small conpany out of stephanville texas and they make really good custom converters
their spragless race convertors are good to 900hp i believe

I have used Coan and TCI in the past, now running BTE.

BTE on my blower motors , only had a problem once after about 100 passes and they fixed it for me,,Bill Taylor is a real nice fellow and you can deal with him direct if you like,,can't find many places where you can talk straight to the owner..

BTE here as well!

Bolt togther converters are pricy (Neal Chance = $1700) but it might be the last one you will ever buy.
You can change to any stall you want (no shipping fees or waiting 1 or 2 weeks) for long or short tracks, different altitudes, etc.
You can clean them if you have a failure.
You can inspect or freshen up if you "wonder" if you have a problem.
