Dont know if this was a good deal or a good idea, but i did it any way. What do you think?

Its going on a SBC 408 with Brodix T1 heads and a 244/600 comp cam roller.

that is a nice looking tunnel ram setup. i ran a tunnelram setup before on a street strip car,it was the weind hi-ram with the 450 holley carbs,it performed awesome made power from2800-8000 rpm range,i had a mild 383 stroker with sportsman 2 heads,and i never had any trouble other than keeping those holleys tuned.but the only thing i would do is make sure i had a camshaft and engine to support the rpm range on the intake,but looks like you made a good deal,i think jegs is selling the weind tunnelram with 2 holley 450's and fuel line and linkage for 799.99 for sbc and plus that butterfly scoop is probably 250.00 or better.

Ya street strip. My cam is a 244/600 Comp Cams roller. (304H-R10)

Check it out. I guess this set up came off of a 68 camaro and the guy dont need the hood any more so he sent me the steel hood (for free) with the hole all ready in it and he said who ever cut the hole did such a good job that it looks factory. I only had to pay for the shipping which was $113.
