89 Camaro suspension
 
89 Camaro 350 eng 425 hp+or- 1.82 PG 5200 conv. 4.56 gear, 28x10 tire 1/8 mile only footbrake .What do we need to do to the rear suspension? Thanks J.Smith 4621 racing

I got the same Year model car, its got a 355 with a lil Nitrous on it.
As far as the rear of the car. we have gone with summits 3-way adjustable shocks and recently put in "Drag Bags" offered by AirFlow. This should improve your 60 ft. times, over the stock susp.
Also look into Sub-Frame Connectors

Jimmy I have a car like that I lowered the mounting points for the lower control arms 2.5 in on the rear end,shortened the torque arm 8 in,put a front spring in the rt.rear,and put a chain to limit downward travel on left rear.All home made.412 sbc 10x28 slick,1.36 60 6.23 111 1/8 9.79 139 1/4.Bill Bates.

Footbraking the car on motor is a low 7 in the 1/8, with nitrous its in the 6's. The rest of my suspention is stock besides sub-frame conectors
