overheating hauler
 
im having a overheating issue with my truck
its 2000 ford f 250 deisl
it can ideal fine with no problem
for as long as i want i can drive for as long as i want
but i can go over 70 or pull my trailer if i go over 70 75 then
it starts to run hot i slow down to 50 it cools down doesnt make sence

Could be the clutch fan, at higher RPM's it may not be keeping up.

I'd check out the radiator first. Sounds like it isn't cooling effectively. Maybe too many bugs in the cooling fins. JMO

X2... does sound like a restricted airflow issue.

i change the water pump an thermstat today
no change if i let it idile for a while its still fine an the hose
are some what soft soon has it get close to the red
they get hard where you cant squeeze them an you here boiling
i the hose im going nuts

an theres nothing block the rad from geting air

Have you tried backflushing the radiator?

no i havent im going to take it tomorow to radiator shop
but i dont think its going to help why would it do it at 80 not idile
or any other speed

It may be partially blocked, and the result is like running a radiator that is too small for the engine. It can't keep up with that heat the engine generates.

no here you i hope its not a head gasket i will
set that bitch on fire there no way im doing head gaskets
it not smoking
its not eating antifreeze
no water in the oil
no miss
