Why is everybody setting there Gallery pics to private ??
 

I do not understand why everybody is setting the Gallerie pics to Private.. ??? it just seems like everytime i see a car or bike i wanna look at, the add says to see Profile, then its set to private, and it ask you to be there friend,,,, all i wanna do is look at there rides ??

They aren't doing it it's mostly blocked because RJ has done it. I guess because of people having revealing pictures on there.

Awhile back a young girl on here got upset because some clown had taken her pics from her profile and posted them up somewhere else. maybe RJ does it to stop this sort of thing...iduno

Lots of badguys steal pics and use them for bogus ads too.

Defaulting profiles to private makes sense as anyone can turn them on for all to see. But I would say Ray makes a good point; if you are going to point them to your profile it should be accessible.

Also, a lot of people have pics of their family, I am not sure I would want somebody grabbing a pic of my wife or child.

Its a pain but I would say the reasonable way to go.

Yes the private pics you can only see if your their friend SUX.
Im not here to be friends with anyone , Im here to buy or sell car stuff.
Also these guys who post their naked whore girlfriends is what makes this whole site about cars start to look less and less appealing to buyers or sellers, I know I have talked to several people who used to watch this site and have stopped because its sliding away from cars.

Let me ask you a question- suppose instead of a naked wh*re girlfriend you post a picture of your lovely daughter whom you are extremely proud of. Perhaps of your family togther having a great time. Do you want Mike2124 or Littlerod going in and grabbing a pic of her?

Just really curious-

The reason there is a racespace is so you can keep in touch with friends as well as trading parts.

If you are just here for car stuff- dont worry about the profiles being private- email the seller for pics.

RJ is handling this correctly.
