If you do choose to go with a chevy motor, goodluck, I'm sure it will be like putting a square peg in a round hole but then a again if you like doing lots of fab work, you've got the right project. JMO> Cp |

I race with a guy that has a 440 Mopar in a 64 Ford truck.

if you are on a budget then find a mopar motor. you will spend a lot more money and time fabricating everything from motor mounts, trans mounts, etc. trying to make the chevy fit in the crab car...
just my opinion |
If you want to go fast stick with the chevy motor. LOL
|
My cousin and I put a 455 Pontiac, in a Morris Minor woodie.... go for it.
It wasn't very practicle, but it sure was fun. |
