Where to find vintage trucks?

I don't know if this is the right place but anyways.
I would like to know where one could look for vintage trucks?
I'm looking for a 1937 Federal.
My grandfather had one and my dad would love to get his hands on one.

Have you searched the Classifieds? Post a "Wanted" ad over there. Good Luck.

Yes I have tried searching the classifieds. Do people actually read the wanted topics!? :D

Might be able to buy this one if you can chase down the owner, it needs restoring. Picture posted 2010.

Zip.

That is a cool truck Zip. Very unique.

tanks guys! I knew that I could count on you!
Yes I know that the Federals are not so common any more.
I don't have a picture of how it should look and the ol`man's memory is not so good any more but hopefully he can tell me if the one in Zippers picture is the correct one. I think it should be a flatbed truck and not an overgrovn pickup

I have the pink slip from the one they had. Unfortunately that one was scrapped and sold as a trailer to some farmer in the 50's.

dont want to pee on your parade but lookin for a federal truck that isnt going to cost you mega bucks is almost impossible. i deal with old cars and trucks everyday.they are far and few between and all are very very expensive...

Dahlton 12-15-2012 06:34 AM

All information is welcome. The truck might also have been 1936 modell since it was registered in Finland in 1937. How much money are we talking about roughly?

outlaw256 12-15-2012 06:42 AM

i cant tell you but i can tell ya that last yr a man had one here up for sale, junk is what it was.i mean it was one rough truck,.i have always said its just metal we can fix it or build it but this one is the one i said noway to! and he got 4500. for it. i wouldnt have given 250.thats how much they bring, now just think of a steel 32 ford or a steel 41 willys and you kinda can get the idea....

Thank you for the information.
The type of the truck should be E15 or something like that.
